Pretty in Pink Stickle Princess

I had to go full on glitter explosion for this one. My baby niece is about to have a birthday and she is ALL girlie girl. She loves pink…sparkles…make up…foo foo… you name it. She also loves to play dress up and all things princess…soooo I thought this Maggie would be perfect for her Birthday card. I did have to draw a face on her because she is funny about things and I did not want to freak her out with the whole no face thing.

I am use to it… and I know the meaning behind them having no face..but I hear a lot about them having no face freaking people out. Sooooo, since she is a little girl, I went with the face..lol This was a fun one to do because I got to go Stickle crazy!! I do love me some Stickles. :)

Anyway, thank you so much for taking the time to stop by and check out my Stickled Princess Maggie!

Mother’s Day Edwin

My dad asked me to make him a card to send to his mom for Mother’s Day and this is what I came up with:

Happy Mother's Day Edwin

Edwin has been colored with Copics and cut out… it was tricky getting around the rose and leaves, but I like the result.

It is my very first Edwin card. I enjoyed coloring him more than I thought I would!! I will have to try and use him more often now. Thanks for looking!!

Ahoy Matey!!

is she not the most darlin little stamp ever? I LOVE her little heart eye patch. I had to ink her up and try out this weeks Papertake Weekly sketch challenge. You should hop on over and check it out… you still have time to enter! I think I want to do a card with her next in pink… I did her up in orange this time because that is my favorite color but she just screams pink to me for some reason.. How cute would that be? Anyway… I am rambling..lol I hope you all have a fantastic weekend and thanks for stopping by!! If you love her as much as I do… you can find here over at Diana’s store Magnolia-licious

Ahoy Matey!

Card can be purchased in my card shop: Paper View Card Co.

Distressing

I love to do it! Not sure why I do not more often. I love ripping, crumbling, inking and sanding paper. I also love taking my normally brilliantly colored Copics and creating a look that is a lot more subdued. That is a challenge with those markers and I love challenges. A friend of mine sent me an image of Oops Tilda and I was thrilled to get to ink her up. She is one of my very favorite Magnolia’s ever. She reminds me of the vintage Campbell’s soup ads, for some reason. I had so much fun making this card!!
