I hope you all had a super fantastic and blessed Easter!!
I wanted to hop on real quick and post this DT card I did for my friend’s digi stamp shop called Guylou’s Inimitability. She is using her awesome artistic talent to create some beautiful and versatile digi stamps. This one is called Emma and actually was requested by another friend who has a grand baby named Emma that loves music. So this one is extra special.
Thanks for stopping by and taking a look. Have a wonderful week!
I was at Church Sunday and they played this song. I have heard it hundreds of times but Sunday it really hit home with me. We are having a family crisis of sorts and my mother and I are in prayer and “waiting upon the Lord” about it. It is one of those things where you can do absolutely nothing to fix it ( except pray of course, which is THE most important thing we can do) and I think that is how God wants it sometimes. So that he gets every single bit of the Glory in the situation when he restores it. It is tough when it hits as close as your family though. I believe and trust in my Lord but I am also human and I have to fight through sorrow and pain when family members are hurting. God is showing my mom and I how to have His Joy and His Peace in the midst of turmoil, and it is a very powerful thing. I hope you all enjoy this song as much as I do and did even more Sunday afternoon. For those of you that have the heart for prayer. Please pray for my family. For restoration of broken relationships and healing of very deep hurts.
Everlasting God
Chris Tomlin
Strength will rise as we wait upon the Lord
We will wait upon the Lord
We will wait upon the Lord
Strength will rise as we wait upon the Lord
We will wait upon the Lord
We will wait upon the Lord
Our God, You reign forever
Our hope, our Strong Deliverer
You are the everlasting God
The everlasting God
You do not faint
You won’t grow weary
Strength will rise as we wait upon the Lord
We will wait upon the Lord
We will wait upon the Lord
Strength will rise as we wait upon the Lord
We will wait upon the Lord
We will wait upon the Lord
Our God, You reign forever
Our hope, our Strong Deliverer
You are the everlasting God
The everlasting God
You do not faint
You won’t grow weary
You’re the defender of the weak
You comfort those in need
You lift us up on wings like eagles
Our God, You reign forever
Our hope, our Strong Deliverer
You are the everlasting God
The everlasting God
You do not faint
You won’t grow weary
You’re the defender of the weak
You comfort those in need
You lift us up on wings like eagles
I found this cool music site from a fellow blogger, Dawn from Along the Broken Road, and decided to check it out. I really enjoy making play lists and searching to see if they have my favorites. It gets rather addicting actually. So since music is a love and passion of mine. I thought what better topic than music for a Thursday Thirteen right? Soooo, I made a play list of a few songs I like. It is by no means a favorites list nor is it close to all of them. I just tried to get a pretty wide range of genres to give you all a glimpse as to what I like. I had to pick only Thirteen so I was limited, you have to scroll the playlist to see all 13 songs. Maybe I can do another some time down the road. So do you know or like any of the ones in my list? If you are not sure what they are you can play them right here from this play list. You can also go on over to IMEEM and make your own list!!! Happy TT everyone
*****UPDATE, YOU HAVE TO GO TO THE LITTLE BOX AND SCROLL TO SEE ALL THIRTEEN. ONLY 9 AT A TIME WILL SHOW ON THE PLAYER*********
The purpose of the meme is to get to know everyone who participates a little bit better every Thursday. Visiting fellow Thirteeners is encouraged! If you participate, leave the link to your Thirteen in others comments. It’s easy, and fun! Be sure to update your Thirteen with links that are left for you, as well! . I wish every single person that comes across this blog a very blessed Easter. I am celebrating and praising my Saviour for going through what he did. I Praise him for submitting to God and carrying out his Will. I Praise him for taking on the sin of the world, my sin, so that I could have eternal life. Knowing this is an awesome, awesome thing. If that is not reason to celebrate Jesus Christ I don’t know what is. He loves us far more than we will ever even begin to fathom. He loved me while I was a dirty, filthy sinner. He loved me before I loved myself. Thank you Jesus for loving me enough to bring me out of my filth and make me clean through the blood you shed for me on Calvary. Thank you for bringing me to my knees, falling on my face in awe of your holiness and majesty. I can not begin to thank you enough for the many blessings you have already given me and my family. The one that is worth the most joy being my salvation. Thank you for loving me through my faults and loving me enough to point them out so that I can repent and turn from them. Praise you King Jesus!!! I love you today and everyday!!!
Mark 16
The Resurrection
1When the Sabbath was over, Mary Magdalene, Mary the mother of James, and Salome bought spices so that they might go to anoint Jesus’ body. 2Very early on the first day of the week, just after sunrise, they were on their way to the tomb 3and they asked each other, “Who will roll the stone away from the entrance of the tomb?”
4But when they looked up, they saw that the stone, which was very large, had been rolled away. 5As they entered the tomb, they saw a young man dressed in a white robe sitting on the right side, and they were alarmed.
6″Don’t be alarmed,” he said. “You are looking for Jesus the Nazarene, who was crucified. He has risen! He is not here. See the place where they laid him. 7But go, tell his disciples and Peter, ‘He is going ahead of you into Galilee. There you will see him, just as he told you.’ ”
It’s the song of the redeemed
Rising from the African plain
It’s the song of the forgiven
Drowning out the Amazon rain
The song of Asian believers
Filled with God’s holy fire
It’s every tribe, every tongue, every nation
A love song born of a grateful choir
It’s all God’s children singing
Glory, glory, hallelujah
He reigns, He reigns
It’s all God’s children singing
Glory, glory, hallelujah
He reigns, He reigns
Let it rise about the four winds
Caught up in the heavenly sound
Let praises echo from the towers of cathedrals
To the faithful gathered underground
Of all the songs sung from the dawn of creation
Some were meant to persist
Of all the bells rung from a thousand steeples
None rings truer than this
And all the powers of darkness
Tremble at what they’ve just heard
‘Cause all the powers of darkness
Can’t drown out a single word
When all God’s children sing out
Glory, glory, hallelujah
He reigns, He reigns
All God’s people singing
Glory, glory, hallelujah
He reigns, He reigns
