Birthday Challenge

They are having a Birthday Card Challenge over at Card Of The Week Blog. It is super simple… you just have to make a birthday card! Yep, that easy. It is the perfect challenge because it leaves the options so open and who doesn’t always need a Birthday card on hand? I know I do.

Pretty in Pink Stickle Princess

I had to go full on glitter explosion for this one. My baby niece is about to have a birthday and she is ALL girlie girl. She loves pink…sparkles…make up…foo foo… you name it. She also loves to play dress up and all things princess…soooo I thought this Maggie would be perfect for her Birthday card. I did have to draw a face on her because she is funny about things and I did not want to freak her out with the whole no face thing.

I am use to it… and I know the meaning behind them having no face..but I hear a lot about them having no face freaking people out. Sooooo, since she is a little girl, I went with the face..lol This was a fun one to do because I got to go Stickle crazy!! I do love me some Stickles. :)

yeah…

It’s almost my birthday… It’s almost my birthday!!

Going out of town with hubby and can NOT wait!!!!

I love birthday time :) I guess it is because I am still rather young.
Although I hope I am always this excited about my birthday..lol
It is like a holiday to me and always has been. I blame my parents..lol They spoiled me… always giving me like a birthday week and making me feel special!! I was allowed to stay home from school on that day even. So I grew up an adult that thought I should be off work that day as well..lol This year, I am :) I took vacation days…WOOT!!

Last year my birthday was a huge downer because I had just lost my best friend.. This year… life is good and I am going to enjoy it!!
