Happy Father’s Day!

I am blessed to still have my dad and to have a wonderful husband to celebrate Father’s Day with. He is enjoying his day right now by catching a nap watching the race. lol So I thought while he did that I would sneak in here and post the cards I made for him…then maybe get a little creating done. Our daughter left today for Girl Scout camp…so it is just us and the furbabies.

anyway… Here is the one I made for our daughter to give to him?

Copic Color Challenge #38 and vacation!!

Today starts my husbands vacation. It has been way too long!! It is also days before we celebrate our 5th wedding anniversary!! We are excited to get to celebrate with a vacation! Before we leave I wante dto get this card done and posted!!

I am really enjoying doing the Copic Color Challenge…it is helping me get cards done, it is helping me blog again and it is fun!! I only had one of the colors this week so I had to use my closest to the other two. This week’s colors are:
Colour Chart 38

I had the toughest time with this week’s colors. This is the third image I tried before I got a final result that I was happy with. I guess they can’t all come together super easily or it would not be a challenge would it? LOL

I’m excited!

My scrap room got featured in the blog Scrapscene: The who’s who of scrapping. It was totally a labor of love from my DH for my birthday a few years ago. I was turning thirty and about to have a major surgery. He went all out!! I love the space and it gets LOTS of use. It was very cool to be able to see his handy work featured like that.

It snowed!!!!

DH went outside for a minute and saw that it was snowing!! He came back in and I totally thought he was kidding until I went out and saw it for myself. WOW!! What a huge surprise. It snowed for hours.. It was so beautiful and magnificent. We had a blast playing in it and taking pics. It was super cold and I was loving it!!
