Hi stampers!

I hope you all had a fantastic Christmas and HappY start to 2012!

The Guylou’s Inimitabily DT is back and we are ready to see what you got with a new color challenge:

Dance Like no one is watching

I used the colors to make this card using this beautiful ballerina, Alexandra. The colors somehow inspired me to make this card..lol I have no idea why my brain went here instead of a Winter themed card. Maybe because I live on the Gulf Coast of Texas and it has been shorts and flip flop weather? Maybe if I lived in a place that was Winter Wonderland-ish.. I would have thought snow and ice.

I am so curious and excited to see what everyone creates… so come on and join in and show us what your creative juices produce.

GI Christmas Blog Hop!

Happy December! Can you believe that the Christmas season is already upon us?
How does the time go so fast?

Turn on the Twinkle!

It has been way too long since I played with some House Mouse stamps. They always just make me smile with their crazy antics. This one in particular makes me giggle. It is called funny face and it totally reminds me of something I would do. lol I had fun coloring it up and adding Glossy accents to the ornament to make it shine like glass. Also I got to play with some of my new Christmas paper and I noticed I am TOTALLY addicted to tulle lately. I just love the fullness and fluff it has. It is so much fun, and is easier to work with for me than ribbon most of the time.

I am entering this card into the Warm and Fuzzy challenge on the House Mouse and Friends Challenge Blog
They challenged us to make a card that gives makes us feel warm and fuzzy. Well Christmas time always does for me. I LOVE tradition and decorating the tree as a family, while playing Christmas music and drinking hot cocoa or cider, is one of my favorites. Another tradition is getting a new ornament or making one each year for each family member that reminds us of something that year. So this image makes me warm and fuzzy and just brings a smile to my heart!

I hope you are all having a great week and want to wish those that celebrate, a very blessed Thanksgiving!

Christmas with a twist!
