Just wanted to share this card I did with this adorable House Mouse stamp. Splitcoaststampers posted the new sketch last night and I decided to play along. It was a fun one to work with because it was different… and challenging. Two things I like 
I got the idea to puff paint the pin heads from a card my awesome friend Gina made… She is brilliant, that one!
I have soooo many cards to work on today and get done, so I am keeping this post short and sweet.

They are having a Birthday Card Challenge over at Card Of The Week Blog. It is super simple… you just have to make a birthday card! Yep, that easy. It is the perfect challenge because it leaves the options so open and who doesn’t always need a Birthday card on hand? I know I do.

I hope you are all having a wonderful week… I have been busy as a bee making cards and getting back into the school routine with our daughter. I am such a night owl that it is hard to get my body used to getting up at 6am.. UGH!

Good afternoon bloggers!
Today is so hot and sunny…thank goodness for air conditioning. I sit here at my desk with the air on and a fan blowing while looking out the window at the birds playing in the sunshine. I love how alive everything is in the Summer.. How green everything is.. how things are in bloom and there is just a “happy” feel in the atmosphere. This card reminds me of the very essence of Summer. What do you think?
